Backfist - Side

There are two main types of backfist - side, which is performed horizontally, and front, where it is performed downward.

The Backfist is another Kinetic technique – it doesn’t rely fully on strength to execute, but the swinging of the arm to build up kinetic energy (speed and weight of the arm equals power).
